DECEMBER NEWSLETTER

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday! I am sure you are now blazing through December full force towards Christmas and the New Year. Can you believe it? Time... look away and all of a sudden 2007 is over...
I bet everyone reading this doesn't really have time to read this because you are so busy finishing up your year, but I am glad you are reading, so read on...  you've got a bit more time before midnight strikes.

I have been spending much more time in recent months on just the writing and composing of songs, and focusing on the words and melodies, prior to jumping into the wonderful and mysterious studio mode. I love recording and producing, but just playing an acoustic or piano alone with vocals is just so nice and one of my favorite things. So the two new songs posted under (What's New) are both raw versions of one take. I quickly recorded each song the same night I wrote it. This is a good way to capture the feel of the original song idea. Both tunes will soon be finished and published on the new CD in 2008.

So with that said, please take a listen sometime to the new tunes posted on the site. I hope you enjoy and I hope to see some of you at the upcoming gig. This will be the last show for the year 2007. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ~ aj
