Many things are going on behind the scenes as we gear up to make 2008 a very successful year indeed.

April 2008 - The launch of allanjames.tv and jamfortheworld.com
In April we are excited to begin an online show on some weeknights where you will be able to listen to live music, studio recordings, check out older videos, and just watch and listen to recording sessions LIVE!!

I have been working with video, music, and multimedia for many years now, and of course now the world wide web... In the early stages of the Internet, trying to do any video was pretty much impossible. Then over the past couple years all that has changed drastically and it is moving at the speed of light. Now we have the MySpace and YouTube and hundreds of other similar companies helping artists, musicians, and other talent get their music heard, and their art seen around the world, and it is all pretty much FREE to market. But now something else is taking off, that goes beyond watching pre-recorded videos, now you can watch and have Live video feeds from people around the globe.

I have always wanted a way to be able to play music to the world right from the studio, and also collaborate with other musicians around the world right from HOME. I did many tests even back when I lived in Herndon many years ago now, and I played live for people in South America, Germany and France. It astounded me and I was then sure it was going to take a few years, but it would come to be. I remember the Germans who listened to my songs and saw me on the video feed through Netmeeting... one German came up to his camera and said to me, "well Allan, this is your First Trans-Atlantic CONCERT!! I was amazed, and thought, this is nuts!!

Some of you may have heard me talk about this and I am very excited about the possiblities. It also will allow me to be able to have other talented musicians and friends over to jam, record, and play for the world. Stay tuned...

The 2 web addresses that will be used for the Allan James Live Video will be:

We will keep you posted and let you know when the 1st show is going online!!

March though June 2008 - Rodney Crihfield on bass

Rodney is an incredible bass player. He has been a great friend for many years since I recorded some of my 1st CDs like Break the Silence, and All the Time. He plays bass on several of those songs.  Now years later, he has been in several bands, and completed countless musical projects, and has become a well-known bassist around the east coast and has been touring the past few months. He is currently building his own nice studio in West Va.

I am happy to say we will be collaborating on upcoming recordings for the new Allan James CD, and also we hope to squeeze in some live shows! Stay tuned and we will provide more details as we get rolling.
